Location
Arcachon is a commune in south-west France, in the Gironde region. It's the perfect place to enjoy nature-based activities, with numerous hiking trails, bike paths and waterways ideal for water sports. Spend the day sunbathing on the beach, strolling along the harbor or taking a boat out to Île aux Oiseaux. La Ville d'Hiver is a district where you can discover eccentric and original architecture, from mosaics to Gothic mansions and exotic gardens. You can also discover the famous Dune du Pilat, 110 meters high, offering an incredible panorama of the Bay of Arcachon, the forest and the Cap Ferret lighthouse.
It's a charming town that perfectly combines a renowned seaside resort and a typical small town with the scent of pine and sea salt.
