Set on a 12-hectare estate, the groom's house and neo-Gothic château date from 1895. Just 4.6km away, Baugé offers shops and services. You'll be 35 minutes from Angers and Saumur, and 20 minutes from the Loire and La Flèche Zoo.
[THE GITE] Completely renovated, the gite is bright, comfortable and peaceful. It offers 67m² on two levels. First floor: 33m² living room with fitted and equipped kitchen opening onto dining area and living room (wood-burning stove provided). The large glass roof allows you to enjoy the view over the woods. Upstairs: bedroom with double bed (160 x 200cm), bedroom with 2 single beds (90 x 190cm) and extra bed, toilet, shower room.
Outside: the spacious awning lets you enjoy the fresh air even in rainy or hot weather. North-facing terrace with garden furniture and electric plancha. The lawn is currently being finished. The gîte is surrounded by a private wood with footpaths starting from the gîte. The setting is peaceful: you can enjoy the sound of birdsong in complete privacy.
[TO SEE - TO DO] Le Viel Baugé is steeped in history, with its church with its twisted steeple. 12 min away: Parc Aventure 49: paintball, accrobranche, outdoor escape game. La Flèche zoo 20 min away, golf course and horse-riding 10 min away, Malagué pond 15 min away with beach, supervised swimming, guinguettes and concerts in season. Bourgueil, Chinon, Saumur and Layon vineyards. Ségolène and Adriaan, who live at the château, will be happy to tell you all about the surrounding activities and the history of the property, which has been in the family for 8 generations.
End-of-stay cleaning not included: €50. No internet connection but good 4G coverage. No TV; TV screen in living room to connect computer or smartphone. Extra bed in second bedroom for €25 extra per stay. Beds are made up and towels provided. Pets accepted for a supplement of 5€ / day. Parking on the property.
