In the neighbourhood you can find not only traditional inns but also restaurants of the agritourism category - eat there and taste tasty farm products. In Katelir, you may be able to take part in the Gramperijada, an event dedicated to the potato - a particularly joyful occasion. In addition to this event, Valentine's Day is also traditionally celebrated by the locals, as St Valentine is the patron saint of the town. Not far from Katelir, you can visit the Baredine Grotto and be mesmerised by the art of nature. Or you can have a fun time at Istralandia, one of the most popular water parks in Croatia and Europe. You should also definitely pay a visit to Novigrad - a wonderful coastal town.
