-2 minutes' walk from the magnificent Lac du Bourget, so dear to the poet Lamartine, the largest natural lake in France, and the base for a wide range of water sports (sailing, kitesurfing, water skiing, rowing, paddle, kayaking, cruising...).
-A 5-minute drive from downtown Aix les Bains, Riviera des Alpes, a city dedicated to well-being and tourism, with its cultural and historical sites, thermal baths, spas, restaurants, casinos and 18-hole golf course (hourly bus service to downtown).
- 25 minutes from Chambéry, the historic capital of Savoie, with its ducal past and extensive architectural heritage.
- 35 minutes from Annecy, the "Venice of the Alps", with its charming old town and natural lake
- 40 minutes by car from the Parc naturel régional du massif des Bauges, where you can enjoy downhill, Nordic and skating skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing, cycling, hiking and paragliding at the Savoie Grand Revard (with La Féclaz) and Les Aillons-Margériaz resorts.

- one hour from Lyon, Geneva and Grenoble via the Alpine freeway network.
- Its TGV station takes you to Paris in three hours.

- Several bus routes also take you to the city at different times of the day.
