This holiday home in Castelnaud la Chapelle, Dordogne, nestled in the heart of Périgord Noir, is close to renowned castles along the Dordogne River. This characteristic stone house with a Perigourdine tower comprises the main house as well as two independent bedrooms within the owners' property. The pool is exclusively private for the holidaymakers.
The property consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy sitting area, a dining space, and an independent WC. There are two bedrooms within the main house (one on the ground floor and one accessed via a wooden spiral staircase), as well as two further bedrooms (accessed externally) located on the first floor of the owner's house, one of which is a small attic bedroom suitable for 1 or 2 children.
Outside, the property is surrounded by holm oaks and walnut trees and enjoys views of Château des Milandes. The private secured pool, (10m x 4m), is equipped with an automatic coverage for temperature maintenance and a summer kitchen adjacent to the pool offers convenient facilities.
The hamlet of Lasserre overlooks the valley of the River Dordogne and enjoys a direct view of the Castle of Joséphine Baker 'Les Milandes'. You will find the nearest shops in Castelnaud (5.5km)
