Location
Talence is on the outskirts of Bordeaux and boasts many green spaces, including Parc Margaut, Parc Curval and Parc Peixotto. It's a dynamic commune with a large number of shops. It is the fourth largest city in the Gironde department. Talence is home to the Sciences et Technologies college of the Université de Bordeaux, as well as numerous higher education establishments. While staying here, you'll have the opportunity to visit a number of châteaux: Peixotto, Château du Prince Noir, Château Margaut and Château Raba. Talence is also very well endowed in terms of culture, with media libraries, theaters and a Forum des Arts et de la Culture.
