The gîte de la Cunaille is ideal for a family get-together or a get-together with friends, to recharge your batteries or to celebrate and have fun. To entertain young and old alike, you'll find plenty of equipment on site (darts, Molkki, basketball hoop, table tennis, table soccer, etc.) and activities nearby: rowing boat and bike hire, tennis court 700m away, golf driving range 10 minutes away (introductions by the owner on request), beach and water sports at Lac de Villiers (10 minutes), fishing in the Loir, etc.
In Thoré-La-Rochette, a wine-growing village, you'll find a bakery and grocery store (supermarket and other shops in Vendôme, ten minutes away). You'll be able to explore wine estates, troglodyte villages (Troo), visit the Château de Rochambeau, discover the town of Vendôme and its historical nuggets... and don't hesitate to hop on the Loir Valley's little train (an authentic 1950s railcar) to discover the riches of the Vendôme region.
