Welcome to La Tassetière, a pretty self-catering cottage restored in 2010, quietly located in Houssay (basic shops in the village) and about ten kilometers from the Vendôme TGV station (ideal for trips to Tours or Paris). Near your accommodation, you'll find paths for hiking and cycling, between fields, vineyards and the Loir. You're just a few minutes from Vendôme, where you can stroll and discover a pretty town steeped in history. Don't miss Lavardin, one of France's most beautiful villages, or the troglodytic village of Trôo, the gardens of Plessis-Sasnières or La Possonière (Ronsard's birthplace). In summer, world cultures come together at the Montoir Festival of traditional dance and music (8 km away).
