"Ô Pied Dans l'O" is a renovated stone house near Lac du Bourget (Aix les Bains, "the Riviera of the Alps", ...), the largest natural lake in France.
With its garden at the water's edge, its private pontoon and its large terrace you will enjoy the calm of the medieval village of Chanaz.
This charming house from the beginning of the 19th century is well equipped and offers all modern comforts.
It is very pleasant for up to 8 people, and can even accommodate 10 people with four bedrooms, two living rooms, a garden, a private pontoon, private parking for 2 cars.
4-star prefectural rating for 6 people.
It is a rare property at the water's edge, built by the sailors of Chanaz between 1800 and 1822, this house is atypical on the rocks.
The terrace, built later, with its large masonry posts gives the impression of a house on stilts. This terrace is large enough to have meals and install deckchairs; in addition it benefits from direct access from the kitchen. There is a BBQ at your disposal. You have a view of the water, the countryside and the surrounding mountains (including the Grand Colombier).
The terrace is oriented "West", so you will enjoy the pretty sunsets over the water.
A spiral staircase with secure access for children allows you to go down to the garden at the water's edge. There, a designated space allows you to have a coffee, a snack... while admiring nature or passing boats.
With a boat, from the house's private pontoon you can go to Lake Bourget. If you wish to come with your boat and moor it at the house's pontoon, please inform us in advance.
At the front of the house, you will find a private parking area. It can accommodate 2 cars.
In the basement of the house you have access to the laundry/workshop area with workbench, washing machine, dryer, bicycles, games, etc. This room is also accessible from the street; you can therefore easily store bicycles, windsurfing boards, bicycle racks, roof boxes, etc. in complete safety.
