Welcome to "La Bergerie de la Lezardière", a little cocoon in an old farmhouse dating from the end of the 19th century, with the Château de Ménars, former home of the Marquise de Pompadour, and its formal gardens, as a backdrop. Your 2-person gîte is located in Saint Claude de Diray, a peaceful village on the banks of the Loire (a wild royal river, listed as a Unesco World Heritage site), halfway between Blois and Chambord (less than 10 minutes away). Cycle along the Loire, wander through the Loire Valley or Sologne, and be sure to visit the famous Châteaux de la Loire. Gourmets will not be outdone in the region: AOC Cheverny wine, goat's cheese, asparagus... our restaurateurs and producers will be delighted to help you discover all the flavors of the Loir-et-Cher!
