Location
The property is located on the outskirts of Alghero a picturesque coastal town in the northwest of Sardinia. The town has a rich history and is often referred to as "Little Barcelona" due to its blend of Italian and Catalan cultures.
The medieval heart of Alghero, also known as the "Barceloneta", is worth visiting to explore Cattedrale dell’ Immacolata Concezione (a 25-minute walk/6-minute drive) and is surrounded by 14th-century city walls that offer panoramic views of the sea and surrounding areas.
The local beach, Lido di Alghero (a 30-minute walk / 7-minute drive), is perfect for sunbathing, swimming in the crystal clear, shallow waters and water sports, such as windsurfing, kitesurfing and paddle surfing. Beach lovers will also enjoy Maria Pia (a 10-minute drive) and Bombarde Beach (a 20-minute drive).
Neptune's Grotto is a short boat ride from Alghero or a 30-minute drive away and is known for its mesmerizing caves with stalactite and stalagmite formations.
