At guests' disposal a large living room with dining area, 3 kitchenettes, an eat-in kitchen, a restaurant room managed by the owner and a service bathroom; outside, a large garden divided into 3 parts and entirely fenced, a gazebo in the solarium area, 2 outdoor lounges, a ping pong table, 2 stone-work barbecues, heating, wi-fi internet connection, 3 baby beds, 4 high chairs and parking.

Outdoors and swimming pool
Podere Caiano is characterized by a large garden of approximately 20000 sq.mt, divided into three sections: two surround the "Stella" and "La Rustica" apartments, both fenced and with stone-work barbecues; the other section is located in the center of the hamlet, completely fenced and enriched by terracotta pots, flowers, bushes and various trees. Here, in a quiet position, is the salt-purified, in-ground swimming pool, which has a semi-oval shape and measures 6.50 x10 with a depth of 1.40 metres. Around the pool is the solarium area, furnished with 14 sunbeds, 6 umbrellas, a gazebo with sitting area, outdoor shower and a ping-pong table. In front of the restaurant area and with separate acces from the apartments, the outdoor spaces are completed by: covered veranda to enjoy meals expertly cooked by the owner, outdoor sitting area, a large stone barbecue to be used upon request (better if in the presence of the owner). All outdoor areas are very well maintained and cared for. Through various access gates, some of which are pedestrian, you enter the property where private parking is located. Adjacent to Podere Caiano the owner grows genuine products mainly intended for cooking: extra virgin olive oil, wine, seasonal fruit and vegetables.
The entire complex (about 250 sq.mt) dates back to the 18th century, and is made up of 4 Tuscan-style residential units, completely restored. Through a first gate you enter the reception, a dining room capable of accommodating the entire group, adjacent to an industrial kitchen that can only be used by the owner who, upon request and exclusively for Podere Caiano's guests, can prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners with the use of genuine products grown at the property and recipes faithful to the family tradition; all is accompanied by organic home-produced olive oil and wine, as well as the Beni family's bitter (amaro), part of the tradition since 1860. Here we also find a service bathroom and a laundry room (washing machine, iron and ironing board, sink). An external stone staircase leads to the above section where we find the "Stella" apartment (54 sq.mt) characterized by a completely fenced private garden, children's games, stone barbecue and covered parking. The apartment is accessible via a covered veranda with table and chairs (closed at the sides). Via 2 steps you reach the living room with table, TV, furnished kitchenette (electric oven, 4 burner hob, extractor fan, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, moka coffee machine, juicer, electric kettle) and, going up 3 steps, a double room with additional single bed and mosquito nets on the window, a bathroom with shower (no bidet). Through a small iron gate you enter the larger garden with swimming pool (also accessible via the main pedestrian entrance), and from here you reach the largest apartment, "La Rustica" (107 sq.mt) also characterized by a private fenced garden, stone barbecue, gazebo with table and chairs for outdoor dining and a further gate as main entrance to the apartment, which is on two floors. The ground floor opens onto a spacious living room with large wooden table capable of seating the entire group, fireplace and TV, eat-in kitchen equipped with stone sink and decorative fireplace (electric oven, hob with 4 burners and 2 plates, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, moka coffee machine, juicer, kettle), bathroom with shower (no bidet). A steep wooden staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom, an attic bedroom with ceiling skylight and French bed (suitable for children), a bedroom with a bunk bed (suitable for children), 1 bathroom with shower. All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets. On the right side of the complex, via a stone and brick arch, you access a small square characterized by a beautiful panoramic terrace, a small church, an old inhabited farmhouse, attached to which there are 2 other apartments belonging to the farm. The "Luna" apartment (46 sq.mt) is on the ground floor, characterized by a living room with table, TV, fireplace, kitchenette (electric oven, 4 burner hob, extractor fan, fridge with freezer, toaster, moka coffee machine, juicer , electric kettle), a double bedroom (with mosquito net), bathroom with shower. Via an external stone staircase (19 steps) you reach the "Sole" apartment (43 sq.mt) with living room with table, TV, stove, equipped kitchenette (electric oven, 4 burner hob, extractor fan, fridge with freezer, toaster , moka coffee machine, juicer, electric kettle), a double bedroom with additional single bed (with mosquito net), bathroom with shower. Furthermore, in a completely private area, is the owner's home, who is available for every type of need and who takes care of the pool cleaning on the days agreed with the guests.
Podere Caiano is presented as a unique proposal, ideal for a group of friends who want to spend their holidays enjoying each other's company, but without giving up their privacy. Particularly suitable for relaxation, nature and sport lovers.

Location
The village is nestled in the green hills of Chianti, ca. 700 meters asl, and overlooking the immense Valdarno valley dotted with perched villages and medieval fortresses. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the countryside, and the place is ideal for relaxing walks. Excellent tranquility and privacy.

Important information
The swimming pool is open from the 1st of May to the 30th of September (from 7.30am to 9pm according to regional regulations for holiday farms).

Services
The price includes the supply of bathroom, bed and kitchen linen (changed weekly), the consumption of electricity, water and gas (but not heating), wi-fi internet connection, 4 high chairs and 3 baby cots. To be paid on site: laundry use (Euro 5/wash). On request: domestic help, cook, cooking courses.

Podere Caiano is located in the municipality of Cavriglia, a predominantly hilly area, great for excursions and bike tours following routes suitable for every skill level. Starting from Cavriglia you can explore places that contribute to making the Valdarno area unique, such as Pergine Valdarno, Bucine with its territory full of medieval villages and castles, San Giovanni Valdarno with its historic center, churches and refined buildings. The hilly area of Cavriglia still maintains its winemaking tradition, but the EVO oil is also inextricably linked to the territory. An honorable mention goes to local honey, jams, fruit and cheeses which contribute in enriching the local cuisine's courses.
