The Cimiez district remains one of Nice's most renowned and bourgeois neighborhoods. Its archaeological sites, museums, prestigious hotels, green spaces and fabulous views over the Baie des Anges make it one of the most popular. Cimiez is the historic heart of Nice. It was on the hill of Cimiez that the Romans chose to establish their prefecture. Today, vestiges of that era can still be found, as can the Musée Archéologique, which documents the history of the area. But that's not all Cimiez has to offer! It's also an incredible residential area with an infinite view of the sea and the old town.
