Nous sommes Yohan, Maryse et Marc, une famille de France métropolitaine et nous adorons l’île de La Réunion, sa richesse et sa diversité. C’est à Saint-Pierre, la capitale du Sud Sauvage, que nous avons la chance d’avoir notre appartement « Ti case a moin ». Nous habitons en Ile-de-France, mais nous essayons de venir tous les ans sur l’île de la Réunion, où nous avons beaucoup d’amis ainsi que de la famille. C’est un endroit que nous adorons, pour la nature, la gastronomie, la musique, mais surtout pour la gentillesse des réunionnais ! Partager notre appartement, c’est aussi pour nous une manière de partager notre amour de l’ile et nous espérons que c’est comme cela que vous le ressentirez !

Enjoy an elegant, quiet and comfortable apartment in a pleasant residence ideally located on the banks of the Saint-Pierre Lagoon. Immediate access to the beach and market. 15-minute walk to downtown. Shops, restaurant and bar on first floor. Renovated in 2024, air-conditioned, with fiber and Wifi 6, TV with streaming services. View over a pretty, wooded, quiet patio. Numbered parking space in underground garage, with direct elevator access. Well-equipped kitchen.
*** Description of accommodation ***
Our T2 apartment is furnished in an elegant style with quality furniture only. We spend our vacations here too, and we want you to enjoy your stay as much as we do. You'll find a bedroom with Queen size bed (160*200), a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet with storage space and washing machine dryer, an entrance hall with cupboard, a living room-kitchen-dining room. The living area is 40m². The sofa in the living room can be converted into a daily bed for 2 people (140*190) with a comfortable Dunlopillo mattress. Numerous household appliances, including a multifunctional food processor.
*** The residence ***
The residence is known as "Le Patio" - in fact, it's written all over it! Impossible to miss when you walk along the seafront, this white and burgundy building is a real eye-catcher.
On the first floor, you'll find a number of shops and services, including :
- A post office,
- A bakery,
- A tabac-PMU,
- Spa
- A biergarten / liquor store
- Cap Méchant" restaurant offering local specialties to eat in or take away.
As the apartment faces the patio, you won't be disturbed by these shops.
*** Surroundings ***
just cross the street to the Ravine Blanche beach. The water is very calm here, as the beach is located in the lagoon. It's a tree-lined beach where Reunion families love to picnic. There are 3 other beaches in Saint-Pierre: La plage de la gendarmerie, a 5-minute walk away, where you can see kitesurfers, but is also pleasant for swimming. The downtown beach, with lifeguards, is ideal for snorkeling (magnificent coral reef and tropical fish). And finally, the "Petite plage" of Terre-Sainte, further south, a little more touristy but charming. The residence is also located at the entrance to the Saturday morning street market - a must! The covered market (the "Malagasy Market") is a 20-minute walk and a 5-minute drive away, in the town center, and is open every day. The nearest supermarket is "Carrefour Saint-Pierre Grand Large", 12 minutes on foot, 2 minutes by car. If you cross the street, you'll also find several small restaurants and vendors selling delicious kebabs along the beach! On Saturday mornings, market day, you'll find the famous "salade de palmiste", but don't arrive too late - it's a very popular dish!
*** Events ***
Two of Saint-Pierre's not-to-be-missed events take place every year right next to our accommodation:
- Sakifo Musik Festival, usually at the beginning of June
- The "Grand Raid", in particular the start of the "Diagonale des fous", usually in the second half of October.
