Pets welcome if non-aggressive, with Charlotte's little Shih Tzu dog. Come and discover the "Forêt jardin des Hayes" at Charlotte's! Even if it doesn't yet resemble a forest (it will reach full maturity in 10 years' time), these 8,000 m² already produce an abundance of vegetables, fruit and edible flowers, mushrooms and honey. The semi-buried bioclimatic greenhouse, which backs onto the processing laboratory and boutique, has been designed for maximum autonomy (solar panels and rainwater recovery). Charlotte will be delighted to show you around and let you taste her jams, fruit juices and dried plants.

Your host :
The granddaughter of farmers on both her mother's and father's sides, Charlotte spent her childhood in the countryside. She obtained a DEA (post-graduate diploma) in Ecology and Regional Planning from Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, followed by a DESS (post-graduate diploma) in Computer Science applied to experimental sciences. She then worked for an IT company in Paris for 20 years, before training at the Bec Hellouin farm to launch her project in April 2019. On an area of 4 hectares, she runs two organic orchards planted with apple, pear, cherry and plum trees, and is experimenting with a garden forest on an area of 8,000 m2. Its aim is to design and create garden forests and ecosystems for the general public, and to constantly share the results of its experiments in local contexts, sharing knowledge, productions, etc...
