Location
The Arénas district is a neighborhood in the city of Nice. It is located at the south-western end of the city, bordered on the west by the Var river. It is separated from the Saint-Augustin district by the old Route Nationale 7 and the Marseille-Ventimiglia railroad line. A large part of the district is occupied by Nice-Côte d'Azur airport, which was partially built on an area reclaimed from the sea. A recent business district, comprising some 350,000 m² of office space in glass buildings, has been built in the northern part of the district. Residential buildings occupy the eastern part.
