On the edge of a UNESCO World Heritage site, on the outskirts of the Parc National des Cévennes, France's 2nd largest international dark sky reserve, come and stay in this atypical house, built on the vaults of a former barn, whose unique appearance marks the landscape of the Causse Méjean. Ideally located close to the Tarn gorges, in the commune of Montbrun, in a vast wooded countryside, you can enjoy the charms of nature and the many attractions of this region. Without needing to take the car, you'll be able to take advantage of the hiking trails that leave from the house's doorstep, enjoy the exceptional calm of this place and savor the country atmosphere that reigns here. Completely restored in 2022, the house offers a high level of comfort.
You enter via the 36 m² living room (library, TV, DVD player, board games; wood-burning stove available by prior arrangement with the owner). The sloping mezzanine includes 1 x 140 x 190 double bed and 1 x 90 x 190 single bed.
A few steps separate the living room from the upper level, where you'll find the 45 m² living room (TV) with fully-equipped kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed 140 x 190, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed 90 x 200, shower room (Italian shower) and separate WC.
In the basement, the laundry room is equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and steam generator. All linen is provided: household linen, towels and bed linen, all of superior quality.
You'll also find cleaning supplies as well as a coffee, tea and filter kit, and other welcome extras... ! Beds are made on arrival, and end-of-stay cleaning is included. You're really on vacation!
You can also rent a baby kit and, for your convenience, pick up your groceries on the day of your arrival at a Florac supermarket drive. Pets are not allowed.
