Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, yet only 3km from the city: Chalonnes-sur-Loire boasts a wide range of shops and services, as well as a train station with links to Angers, Nantes, Saumur and many of the small villages along the Loire.
This 77m² gîte in Chalonnes-sur-Loire is all on one level. You enter through the modern, functional, fully-equipped kitchen, which opens onto the living room. The beautiful (decorative) fireplace, beams and floor tiles preserved during the renovation recall the charm of the past combined with resolutely modern comfort and decoration. Comfortable living room with the Loire in the background, flat-screen TV with Orange TV. Both bedrooms have hotel-quality 160x200cm bedding for a restful night's sleep. Separate shower room and toilet.
Outside, the 6-seater SPA sheltered by a pergola will be THE place to relax during your stay, summer or winter. Also available: deckchairs facing the Loire, garden furniture, barbecue. Access to the riverbank below is shared with the tenants of gîte H49G027427.
This Chalonnes gîte is ideally placed for a cycling holiday: secure, enclosed outdoor area and Loire bike trail 1.5km away. The Château de Serrant, a must-see, is 15 minutes away. Béhuard Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site, 13 km away. Angers, 30 minutes away, with the Château du Roi René, Musée Jean Lurçat, Terra Botanica theme park,... Nantes, Le Puy du Fou and Doué-La-Fontaine with its Biopark are less than an hour away. The Layon vineyards also offer some wonderful discoveries. For the young ones, meet the wallabies at the Jardin des Kangourous, 10 km from the house.
