Location
Ouistreham is a town in the Normandy region, in the Calvados département. It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen, as well as to the canton of Ouistreham, and is bordered by several communes. Originally a little-known fishing village, Ouistreham has evolved into a seaside resort with magnificent villas along the beach. The town is now characterized by the diversity of its neighborhoods and attracts a large number of visitors. Ouistreham is also a place steeped in history.
