Property for exclusive use
Typical stone farmhouse (150 m2) set in a vast estate covering 460 hectares near Castellina in Chianti. Quiet, panoramic position overlooking vineyards and the gentle Chianti hills (alt. 350 m). Private, fenced swimming pool (6x16) (01/05-13/10). Guests have access to a laundry room (washing machine, tumble dryer) next to the BETTINI property and shared with the other tenants of the complex. Simple but complete furnishings with some period pieces. Cot available (to be requested at time of booking). Pool towels can be rented for a fee. Possibility of buying products from the estate and guided wine and oil tastings in the medieval cellar. Parking. Access via 300 m unpaved road.
PLEASE NOTE: Pets allowed for a fee (Euro 30/pet/week). Arrivals between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
ACCOMMODATION: 1st floor (accessed via outside staircase with small covered terrace): living room with fireplace (satellite TV), kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, small electric oven), 2 double bedrooms, 1 with en-suite shower, 1 twin-bedded, 1 single-bedded, 2 bathrooms with shower. Main floor: several rooms currently unused.
DISTANCES: 7 km from Castellina in Chianti (food stores, tennis), 10 km from Monteriggioni (and its suggestive fortress), 16 km from Poggibonsi (various stores), 23 km from Siena, 26 km from San Gimignano, 55 km from Florence.
