Old stone country house restructured and transformed into a pleasant vacation home. It is part of an estate that also includes Villa Orlando and Liliana, situated on a hillside rich in olive groves and small woods in the outskirts of Cortona, an ancient Etruscan city that still preserves the charm of this ancient civilization. The elevated position offers a beautiful, soothing view over the Valdichiana countryside and excellent peace and quiet. The house is ideal for large families or couples of friends who wish to spend their vacations in company, relaxing or visiting the famous centers of this corner of Tuscany bordering Umbria. The surrounding area is laid out on several levels, with a beautiful, fully-equipped terrace, barbecue and swimming pool (7.5 x 3.5 prof. 1.40) (01/05-15/10). Comfortable furnishings, including some Tuscan antiques. Central heating, air conditioning in all rooms, DVD player, weekly towel change. Possibility of hiring cleaning staff and a cook for delicious dinners based on typical Tuscan dishes.Parking. PLEASE NOTE: Arrivals must take place between 3.30pm and 6.30pm. From 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, check-in is guaranteed at 50.00 Euro. After 8:30 pm, check-in is not guaranteed and will cost 100.00 Euro. Departures must be no later than 9:30 am. Only small pets are allowed for a fee of 100 euro/pet/week. To be requested at the time of booking and paid for on site, the possibility of an additional single bed in the small outbuilding attached to the house, comprising a bed (140x190) and 1 bathroom with shower. Possibility of recharging electric cars (electricity costs to be paid on site according to consumption).
ACCOMMODATION: Ground floor: dining room, well-equipped kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher) with access to a large terrace equipped with a large table and views over the countryside. 1st summer: living room (satellite TV) with access to a small veranda, 1 double bedroom, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower. 2nd summer: 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower.
