Situated along the secondary road of ‘Via Maria Ausiliatrice’, guests are within a 6-7 minutes stroll / 2-3 minutes’ drive away from a selection of authentic Italian Trattorias and Pizzerias, a bakery, cheese shop and a large Tigros hypermarket.
The charming resort town of Laveno-Mombello provides a scenic, well-serviced setting for year-round Lake Maggiore getaways. A superb base for sightseeing, the main ferry stop offers carefree access to the tourist highlights of the western shore, whilst Laveno-Mombello Nord train station provides carefree regional links (both 4-5 minutes’ drive away).
Nearby Ispra (19 minutes’ drive away) offers a wide selection of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, the DK Summer Club, Active Sport Day excursions and lake swimming spots, whilst the famous ‘Hermitage di S.Caterina del Sasso’ in Reno di Leggiuno is just a 10 minute drive away.
Other local Lake Maggiore highlights include Rocca di Angera castle, the Borromean Islands and the resort towns of Intra, Stresa, Arona and Pallanza.
