Do you want nature and peace and quiet?
We rent our secondary house (gite ANDOURRA), which is a traditional mountain house, of about 100m2, in stone, renovated with natural materials (stone, wood, terracotta), not attached and facing south, in a pretty hamlet of Biros in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Ariegean Pyrenees at 900m altitude.
The house is classified as a 3* furnished tourist house by the ADT of Ariège.
Garden on 2 levels (second garden without any opposite), adjacent to a meadow that descends to the stream, surrounded by forests and mountain views, quiet, while enjoying the atmosphere and safety of a typical village in Biros.
1st floor: kitchen (equipped with dishes, coffee maker, toaster, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer)
Dining room with fireplace, sitting area equipped with a sofa click clac (sleeping 130x190), TV.
Bathroom with bathtub + washing machine. Separate toilet
2nd floor: 2 large attic rooms equipped with air-conditioning: 1 room with 2 beds 90x200 + 1 bed 90x190 and 1 room with a bed 160x200. Additional WC on the first floor.
Pergola with garden furniture, barbecue, deckchairs and parasol.
Cars can be parked 50m away in the village . There is no car passage in front of the house.
Activities: walks (access to several tracks from the village), mountain hikes for all levels (GR 10 nearby, Mt Valier Reserve, Etang d Araing, Crabere, Bethmale lake ...) fishing, rivers and lakes (stream near the house), mountain biking, paragliding, snowshoeing ... Visit the cave of Mas d. Azil at 1h, St_Lizier.
Nature lovers will also be able to observe the fauna and flora, enjoy a picnic on the numerous streams and waterfalls and admire the still wild and authentic landscapes.
Summer animations : Formerly the Couserans, marble Grand Antique d Aubert, honey and cheese festival, RITE ,Transhumances, Tour de France ....

St_Girons : 25kms away (big Saturday morning market); 11kms away: Castillon (shops, small municipal swimming pool), grocery store in Sentein 3kms away, Relais Montagnard (meals, concerts) 2kms away, bakery offering organic bread baked on wood fire in the village.
