For a nice day out with your children, visit Surwolds Wald (38 km), a beautiful recreation area with a large playground, climbing forest, toboggan run and fairy tale forest. Visit the city of Papenburg (25 km) for a tour of the famous Meyer Werft shipyard, where impressive cruise ships are built.
