Stay at the Résidence Le Château de Crans, in the Hameau de Flaine, at an altitude of 1800 m. This charming residence is a large Scandinavian-style wooden chalet housing 11 comfortable, fully-equipped apartments.
Located in a quiet, authentic part of Flaine, you'll be perched on the heights of the resort, enjoying incredible panoramic views of the beautiful Alpine mountains.
On the ski side, you're just 500m from the ESF and Club Piou Piou (next to the Résidence "Les Terrasses d'Hélios").
From the Hameau traffic circle, you can take the "Opal" slope to the Gérats chairlift (depending on snow conditions). To reach the other slopes and return to Le Hameau, there's a free shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes throughout the day.
Just 2 minutes from your residence, you'll find the General Store, which includes the Flaine Reservation agency, a ski rental store, a restaurant and a corner shop selling basic necessities. For larger purchases, you can go to the Spar mini-market in the "Les Terrasses d'Hélios" residence.
To reach the resort's activity centers, you can take the free Skibus shuttle (daytime) and the Hameau shuttle (6.30-11.45 p.m.), which drop you off in just a few minutes at Flaine Forêt, from where you can reach Flaine Forum, where most of the bars, restaurants and activities are concentrated.
With shuttle buses and two elevators (operating 24 hours a day) linking the Forêt and Forum districts, getting around the resort is a breeze. Ideal for enjoying both the calm of the heights and the dynamism of the resort center.
