Location
Chalet Chez Claude is a traditional Savoyard chalet, located just 10 minutes walk from the centre of the lively resort of Morzine. Unlike many ski resorts in the region, Morzine is not specifically designed for skiing, it is an active town that attracts visitors all year round, not just during the winter months. The diversity of activities in Morzine does not prevent the resort from being one of the largest ski areas in France and elsewhere. The Portes du Soleil ski area comprises 12 resorts across France and Switzerland with over 650km of pistes. Chalet Chez Claude is the ideal choice for exploring this superb ski area. The free resort shuttle bus stops just 50 metres from the chalet and in just 5 minutes you will be in the centre of Morzine, where in 2 minutes you can be at the Super Morzine gondola lift, which connects Morzine to Avoriaz.

The chalet Chez Claude is a traditional and spacious Savoyard chalet with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, which can accommodate up to thirteen people. With its decoration, the chalet exudes alpine charm and is equipped with everything you could need for a successful ski holiday with family or friends.
The entrance to the chalet is at street level, on the lower floor, where, as you enter, you will find a cloakroom and a room to store your ski equipment and boots, with boot dryers so that you can leave each morning relaxed with your warm and dry boots to start your day on the slopes.
The kitchen is on the lower floor and is fully equipped with an oven and four hobs, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee percolator; a washing machine and dryer are also available in the ski room. Next to the kitchen there is a spacious living room which invites you to come in through the warmth of the wood stove. There are two large dining tables with enough space for up to thirteen people to sit and enjoy a meal by the fire. (wood provided)
If you feel like relaxing after dinner, there are also comfortable sofas in front of the wood-burning stove, or the choice of a second sitting room on the mezzanine floor, with a large flat-screen TV with DVD player, as well as English and French satellite channels, the perfect place if you want to curl up in front of a good movie.
There are five bedrooms in the chalet, all with single beds (90cm x 190cm). There are two bedrooms on the lower floor with two single beds and their own shower room with toilet. On the top floor there are three bedrooms, one with four single beds, the second with three single beds and the last much smaller bedroom with two single beds. The two larger bedrooms both have their own shower room and toilet. The small bedroom does not have a bathroom, but there is a large family bathroom on the lower floor with a bath and toilet.
There is free Wi-Fi connection throughout the chalet, perfect if you need to work, or watch your favourite shows and movies while relaxing in front of the open fire.
If you are driving to the chalet, there are four parking spaces just outside, so there should be plenty of room for everyone.
