Rent this authentic thatched cottage in the heart of the Sée valley, also known as the valley of the 100 mills, in a small "heritage-listed" village, where the sound of birdsong will enchant you. Ideal for nature lovers, freshwater fishermen and hikers.
Numerous activities and walks (Écomusée du moulin de la Sée, the enchanted village of Bellefontaine, Mortain waterfalls (largest waterfall in northwest France) 10 minutes away, Mont Saint Michel less than 1 hour away, D-Day landing beaches (1h15), historic sites). Brittany (55 minutes).
There's no shortage of footpaths for you to explore: the voie verte (former railroad line) at Mortain, Parigny, Isigny-le-Buat or Sourdeval, the nearby GR 22, access to the Véloscénie (cycling route from Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel), mountain bike trails from the VTT-FFC area, and the Sée Valley (over 200 km).
The Sée Valley is also a popular place for trout and salmon fishing, and for spending quality time with friends and family.
