Villa Serena lies on the first slopes of the hills that rise from the Val di Chiana to the Etruscan town of Cortona. Situated on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, it's an excellent base for visiting both regions. The atmosphere here is typically Tuscan, a countryside covered with olive groves and vineyards, dotted with villas in the hills. The vacation possibilities here are varied: in addition to Cortona, which alone is well worth a stay, you can visit Lake Trasimeno, the towns of Perugia and Assisi, as well as villages in the Siena region such as Pienza, Montepulciano and others. The property consists of the villa and an outbuilding. The architecture is distinctive, typical of old manor houses. The residence is surrounded by a beautiful park planted with centuries-old trees, hedges and flowering bushes. A terrace equipped for outdoor dining offers a beautiful panorama of the valley and Lake Trasimeno in the distance. A beautiful swimming pool (12x4m; depth 1.70)(15/05-30/09) and garden equipment complete the comfort and charm of the property. Furnished mainly with period furniture. Laundry facilities are located in a separate room next to the villa. Domestic help, baby-sitting and cooking classes on request and payable locally. Central heating.
