The La Crucita estate covers an area of 7,500 square meters and is located in the village of Haria, in the north of Lanzarote. A 2002 census showed a total of 1,189 inhabitants in the village. La Crucita is surrounded by over 50 palm trees, most of which are over a hundred years old, and lies in a valley where thousands of these species thrive. The property has eight houses, all different from each other and fully equipped, one of them being the main house and measuring over 500 square meters. Each is named after a village in the commune: Haria, the main house, Yé, Máguez, Orzola, Tabayesco, Arrieta, Mala and Guinate. The village and houses are designed to be accessible to people with disabilities, with no architectural obstacles or barriers. In addition to the houses and open spaces of La Crucita, there is a garden with some twenty palm trees and a barbecue area.

Architectural style, the architectural style of the houses at La Crucita is inspired by traditional Lanzarote architecture. Fireplaces - up to 8 different ones - earthenware and parquet floors blend with the generous use of woodwork in ceilings, doors, windows and floors.

Stay true to tradition

In keeping with tradition, particular attention has been paid to the gardens, with some plants sourced exclusively from the island and the Canary Islands, while others come from elsewhere. Worth seeing

Four of the seven art, culture and tourism centers are located in the municipality of Haria, including Cueva de los Verdes, Mirador del Rio, Jameos del Agua and Jardin de Cactus. The last three are the creations of César Manrique, who spent the last years of his life in Haria.

Mirador del Río

This unique structure, carved into the hillside of the Peñas del Chache in the Famara massif, rises to an altitude of almost 700 metres. The Mirador offers a panoramic view of the islands that make up the Chinijo archipelago, La Graciosa being the main island, with Alegranza and Montana Clara in the background.

Cueva de Los Verdes

A kilometer-long volcanic cavern, illuminated to highlight the different shapes and colors of the molten lava as it makes its way to the sea. Ancient inhabitants sought refuge in the cave during pirate attacks on the island.

Jameos del Agua

An underground lagoon home to blind albino crabs, with hanging tropical gardens and a superb lagoon pool. Jameos del Agua also houses an underground auditorium and a museum with a permanent exhibition on volcanoes.

Cactus Garden

A garden unlike any other in the world. Within its walls are 10,000 cacti of over 1,400 species. Built like a Roman amphitheater, the garden is made up of several levels of volcanic stone beds.

The municipality of Haria is also home to the Gusa salt mines, at the foot of the Famara massif, and the Los Valles wind farm, which generates part of the island's electricity.

Risco Beach

El Risco beach is reached by descending from the top of the Famara massif, at an altitude of almost 700 metres, along a two-kilometre-long path to sea level. The descent takes almost half an hour. The beach offers one of the most beautiful backdrops, with the cliffs of the massif behind it. The climb up the same path takes about an hour. With its golden sand and calm sea, it is isolated in a nature reserve and overlooks the narrow strip of sea, El Rió, that separates Lanzarote from La Graciosa.

La Garita Beach

This beach is located in the village of Arrieta. It has golden sand and is protected from the prevailing wind and waves. It has numerous facilities: changing rooms and toilets, a breakwater, restaurants directly on the beach and a Red Cross station...

Caleton Blanco

Located very close to the village of Orzola. It's an attractive beach thanks to the vivid contrast of colors: the white of the sand, the intense turquoise of the sea and the black volcanic lava. Caleton Blanco is just a 15-minute drive from the La Crucita estate.

In the design and architecture of the finca and vacation homes, particular emphasis has been placed on easy, unhindered access for wheelchair users and people with disabilities. In our beautiful, spacious garden, you can enjoy our palm trees and listen to the music of our "Jeu de Pétanca" in complete freedom.

The constructive line

The architecture of the complex and vacation homes is based on ancient Lanzarote traditions. Fireplaces (8 different ones), floors in wood and terracotta or walls in/with natural stone live in natural harmony with the carefully chosen woodwork in the doors, fans and ceilings of the houses.
