Var le Charlemagne campsite enjoys an exceptional location in Grimaud, on the Côte d'Azur. Nestling at the head of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, with fascinating panoramas alternating between waterfront ports, lakes, hilltop villages, crests and peaks, this 4-star campsite welcomes you to a peaceful park planted with the Mediterranean scents of eucalyptus, mimosa, cork oak and oleander.
Situated between the Mediterranean beaches and the Massif des Maures, the location will delight water sports enthusiasts, mountain bikers and hikers alike. In the hinterland, medieval villages with authentic charm welcome you to their historic squares and markets filled with delicious Provencal specialities.
Not in the mood for adventure? No problem, the campsite has a beautiful 18-metre swimming pool with a paddling pool, where aquagym classes and water polo tournaments are organized.
As for children, this friendly, family-run campsite has a games room (table soccer, billiards, etc.) and a children's club open 6/7 days a week in July and August.
Older children are also catered for with an outdoor fitness area, regular sports tournaments (volleyball, pétanque, table tennis, water polo, etc.), and golf and go-karting nearby.
A multitude of services are on offer: the friendly reception team is on hand to deal with any queries you may have, and the catering offer includes, in addition to the restaurant and bar, a bread and pastry shop, so you don't have to leave the campsite to go to the bakery before breakfast. Finally, wifi (at an additional cost) covers the entire campsite.
