Ouistreham, his name still resonates today in each of our history books. Marked by the history of the Second World War, Ouistreham played an important role in the outcome of this war, becoming, thanks to its Sword Beach, one of the five "D-Day landing beaches". Stroll along the quays of the port, climb to the top of the lighthouse (after having climbed 171 steps all the same, but it is the only lighthouse that can be visited in Calvados so the experience is worth it!), rent a rosalie to discover the heart of Ouistreham, and also take the towpath for a superb walk along the canal linking Ouistreham to Caen, for a walking, horse riding or cycling excursion lasting about fifteen kilometres all the same.
