Principality located between France and Spain, in the heart of the Pyrenees, Andorra enjoys a natural setting of unparalleled beauty. In all seasons, you can practice many sports activities but also enjoy the cultural heritage of the country and of its traditional gastronomy.
In winter, Andorra is transformed into a paradise for lovers of skiing. The principality has indeed two vast areas of alpine skiing. The largest of the two, Grandvalira, is also the largest of the Pyrenees with over 200 kilometers of pistes and 64 lifts. It is accessible from the beautiful resorts of Pas de la Casa, Canillo and Soldeu. Nordic ski enthusiasts will also be delighted by the presence of the Naturlandia Park, which has 15 kilometers of cross-country ski trails, the longest alpine toboggan in the world (5.3 km) and a wildlife park.
In summer, the mountains cover the greenery of their pastures and offer an ideal setting for many outdoor activities. Hikers will be able to venture on the GRP which goes around the principality but also on the GR7 and GR11 which cross valleys and natural parks. If you prefer cycling, discover the 21 mountain bike passes of Andorra or go down the mountain bike trails of Vallnord Bike Park or Grandvalira Mountain Bike Park. But also enjoy your stay to make new experiences : 550-meter zip line in Canillo, quad outings, karting, horseback riding, climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, free flight... you'll be spoiled for choice.
Land of open spaces and outdoor recreation, Andorra also invites you to discover its cultural riches. In Andorra la Vella, visit the Casa de la Vall, built in 1580 and seat of the Andorran Parliament, the Romanesque church of Sant Esteve and the remains of the castle of Sant Vicenç d'Enclar. In Canillo, be surprised by the almost cubist architecture of the sanctuary of Our Lady of Meritxell and admire the beautiful church of Sant Joan de Caselles. But also enjoy the many museums of Perfume, Electricity, Tobacco, Motorcycle or the Iron Interpretation Center. During your visits, treat yourself to some gourmet breaks to taste the local specialties : mountain trinxat, river trout, escudella, aioli, cold cuts, fougasses...
