The Bulgarian mountains attract many tourists every year, lovers of skiing, climbing or even hiking. It is 250 kilometers from Sofia that you will find one of the most popular resorts in Bulgaria : Pamprovo. In the beautiful region of Smolyan, in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains, this resort will amaze you with its impressive relief, covered with large forests. Also lay your spatulas on the Borovetz side, 70 kilometers from Sofia. If winter is more conducive to sports such as skiing and snowboarding, in summer, the place is ideal for hiking with its many marked trails.

Known for the quality of their thermal waters, many Bulgarian cities are equipped with spas and other fitness centers so that you can spend a relaxing and well-being holiday : Velingrad, located in the heart of Rhodopes or Stara Zagora are the most famous of them.

Economic and social heart of the country, Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria. At the same time alive and cosmopolitan, you will appreciate its green parks like the Yuzen park, but also its museums filled with historical and cultural treasures, like the National Archaeological Museum. Stroll through its pedestrianized city center, pass through Sveta Nedelya Square to admire its stunning 10th century church, and indulge in one of the many restaurants in the city to discover local flavors. Generous and tasty, the Bulgarian cuisine will make you travel : try the "tarator", a kind of cold soup made from Bulgarian yoghurt, walnuts, dill and cucumber, but also "Caşcaval", a delicious milk cheese from sheep. Finally, enjoy eggplant caviar, meat stews, stuffed vine leaves or the "mich-mach", a puree of peppers accompanied by onions and scrambled eggs that will conquer the taste buds of gourmets.

Finally how to mention Bulgaria without talking about its splendid coastline ? Facing the Black Sea are many seaside resorts. The best known is undoubtedly the Golden Sands, 16 kilometers from the city of Varna, the largest Bulgarian municipality on the coast. At the heart of a beautiful natural park, its fine golden sand is worth a growing popularity among foreign tourists. A natural paradise preserved, its long beach of over 3 kilometers is ideal for a relaxing session with family or friends. You can also visit Albena, Saint Constantine, Ahtopol, Obzor, Bourgas or the beautiful seaside resort of "Slantchev briag" also known as the "Coast of Sun". It is also one of the most touristic cities in the country, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A favorite spot for young people when summer comes, the Coast of Sun is the perfect spot for night owls and partygoers thanks to its bars, discos and numerous festivals. Athletes can take advantage of the many activities offered on the coast : water skiing, surfing, sailing aboard a yacht, but also riding, mini golf and games for children will occupy the afternoons of your holidays.
