But also take a boat ride on the canals that cross the Hortillonnages, floating gardens built by the Romans. Then go to Laon to see its famous crowned mountain and its 68 buildings classified as historical monuments (Notre-Dame cathedral, episcopal palace, Hôtel-Dieu...).
