In Privas, the prefecture, you can admire the bridge over the Ouvèze (12th century), the Diane tower of Poitiers (15th), the superb Convent of the Récollets and the church of St. Thomas. In Annonay, the most populous city in the department, enjoy the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Maison La Vanaude, the Château de Déomas and the monuments dedicated to the Montgolfier brothers. But also make a getaway to Aubenas (castle, church), Joyeuse (medieval city, castle) and in many enchanting villages : Alba-la-Romaine, Balazuc, Chassiers, Grospierres, Labeaume, Salavas, Vinezac, Vogüé...

Among the must-see sites, you can admire the Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc, the source of the longest river in France, which culminates at 1551 meters and offers a fabulous panorama. In the natural park of the Monts d'Ardèche, let yourself be impressed by the cascade of the Ray Pic which flows from basalt organs over more than 10 meters.
