A territory with a strong rural component, the Corrèze is structured around two large cities with a rich past. Tulle, the prefecture, seduces by its historic center which is home to many monuments. You can admire the Notre-Dame Cathedral, built in the 12th century, its magnificent cloister and a multitude of old houses such as the Maison Loyac with its two turrets on the façade. Brive-la-Gaillarde, the most populous city of the department, also has an impressive historic heart. You will be able to appreciate the collegiate church Saint-Martin, built from the 11th century, the chapel Saint-Liberal, the tower of the Aevrevins...
Then, discover the superb natural sites and the sumptuous villages of Corrèze. In the north of the department, explore the Millevaches natural park and its amazing diversity of environments : peat bogs, hardwood and softwood forests, heaths, meadows... In the south of the park, near Neuvic, immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery of the gorges of Dordogne and, close by, see the Organs of Bort, prodigious basaltic flows surmounted by a plateau that offers a panoramic view on the chain of Monts Dore.
