A territory with a strong rural component, the Corrèze is structured around two large cities with a rich past. Tulle, the prefecture, seduces by its historic center which is home to many monuments. You can admire the Notre-Dame Cathedral, built in the 12th century, its magnificent cloister and a multitude of old houses such as the Maison Loyac with its two turrets on the façade. Brive-la-Gaillarde, the most populous city of the department, also has an impressive historic heart.
