It is in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, known to be one of the most beautiful bays in the world, that the city of Plérin is located. In the Côtes-d'Armor department, Plérin is the perfect blend of tradition and dynamism, history and charming natural heritage. Here, the coastline is the most striking feature: with more than 13 kilometres of coastline, absolutely majestic cliffs and an active port area, Plérin is undoubtedly a city of water. Located just at the mouth of the Gouedic and Gouet rivers which cross Plérin, the Port du Légué, whose entrance is guarded by the Pointe à l'Aigle lighthouse, is a veritable Eden for lovers of boats and sea trips. It has been welcoming pleasure boats as well as commercial and fishing boats (such as the Grand Léjon) for years, and fascinates visitors for its authentic character. The place is also very pleasant, lined with signs of craftsmen, shops and restaurants where you can have lunch on the banks of the Legué, at the foot of very old shipowners' houses of the 18th century like the Villa Rohannec'h, built on a small hill.

In terms of historical heritage, it is a whole anthology of buildings made of old stones that await you in the heart of Plérin. The 15th century Saint-Pierre church is worth a visit for its original architecture made of two bell towers. You will also see during your visits many chapels among which the chapel of Bon Repos of the 15th century, the chapel of Petit Couvran of the 16th century, or those of Saint-Eloi and Argantel.

After a visit on the town side, Plérin tirelessly invites the holidaymakers passing through its walls to discover its coast. Equipped with good walking shoes, you can walk along the Sentier des Douaniers, also known as the GR34, which runs along the entire coast and which we recommend you follow to Gwin Zegal, passing by the wonderful cliffs of Plouha. By mountain bike, bicycle or horseback, depending on your wishes, you will discover the marvellous panoramas that make up the coastline of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc. But with more than 2.5 kilometres of beaches, it is difficult to resist the call of the sea! In Plérin, water sports lovers will find a whole range of activities perfect for solo, couple or family practice. What's on the agenda? Kitesurfing, sailing, catamaran, sea kayaking, but also sea outings and swimming in turquoise water to die for. From the marvellous Rosaires beach to Tournemine beach, via Martin Plage and Nouvelles Saint-Laurent beach, you can be sure that your holidays in Plérin will be unforgettable!
