From the Emerald Coast to the Pink Granite Coast, the department of Côtes d'Armor surprises first of all by the beauty of its coastline. Between beaches of fine sand, handles set in a setting of rocks and small wild coves, everyone will find his little corner of happiness to rest or build sand castles with his children. You will also be able to practice many water activities and take the wide, by boat, to go to visit the island of Bréhat or the archipelago of Sept-Îles and its incredible nature reserve. Take advantage of the great tides to go fishing, on foot, and to bring back hulls, sandeels and bulots.
After a few hours by the sea, take time to visit the beautiful Breton cities of Côtes d'Armor. In Saint-Brieuc, stroll through the old town and discover the fortress-like Saint-Etienne cathedral, the Bellescize pavilion and the historic houses (Le Ribault, the Dukes of Brittany hotel). Join Dinan, the medieval city, walk through its narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the Duchess Anne's castle, the Clock Tower, the Saint-Sauveur Basilica... But many other cities deserve a little detour like Perros-Guirrec and Its famous village of Ploumanac'h, Paimpol and, inland, small cities of characters like Pontrieux, Châtelaudren or Tréguier.
A land of hiking, the Côtes d'Armor invites you to discover on foot, horseback or bicycle all its natural riches. For example, take the GR 34, the famous Douaniers trail, and marvel at the majesty of the Pink Granite Coast, Cap Fréhel, Fort La Latte, Talbert's path, Plougrescant pit or Plouha cliffs. Inland, follow the paths that will lead you around the lake of Guerlédan, towards the abbey of Beauport, towards the castle of Roche Jagu or that of the Guildo. But also enjoy your stay to taste the flavors of Brittany : scallops of Saint-Brieuc, coco de Paimpol, pancakes, galettes, Gavottes de Dinan, cider...
