Between Étables-sur-Mer and Saint-Brieuc, bathed by the waters of the bay of the same name, the small seaside resort of Pordic is located in the heart of the Côtes-d'Armor. Dynamic and exotic, this typically Breton destination with its many facets is the perfect place for an outdoor holiday.

If there is a word to define Pordic? The au-then-ti-ci-té! Located at the entrance to the coast of Goëllo, Pordic is famous for its quays and its long pier where it is so pleasant to stroll, as well as for its long, very long beaches, on which bathers (sometimes reckless it must be said) and hikers like to spend a good time, in love, with family or friends. Let's face it, the Breton waters are magnificent, but rarely warm: nevertheless perfect for good refreshing swims on hot summer days (yes, we swear it is hot in summer), they are especially popular in Pordic with lovers of the sea, fishing and sea excursions. From the port, many sea outings are available to holidaymakers passing through the resort, to allow you to discover all the beauty and tranquility of the Pordican coast. Swimming and relaxing under the sun (stop making fun of it, we assure you that it doesn't rain all the time in Brittany!), towards the beach of Le Petit Havre: sheltered by schist rocks, this pebble beach is a small corner of paradise, a haven of peace for holidaymakers in search of peace, but also for fans of fishing on foot.

Pordic is also a small concentration of everything that is best done in Brittany: hiking trails, history and heritage will satisfy all your desires. First of all, you will have to choose a short walk or bike ride to discover the contours of this Costa Rican city. But what to see? The 13th century guard house located along its very rocky coast, but also the Chapelle de la Garde (1849), or the superb manor house of Pré Péan (1722) which impresses with its fortified enclosure and imposing double door. The medieval chapel of Vaudic and the viaduct of the Pont de Percée are also worth seeing: the latter in particular is one of the most important sites in Pordic. A link between Plérin and Pordic, the highest viaduct of the railway line that linked Saint-Brieuc to Paimpol in the 20th century, it can be visited thanks to the "fishermen's circuit", a 15 km itinerary starting from the heart of Pordic. Rather tempted by walks in the heart of nature? In Pordic and its surrounding villages, you will find many hiking and cycling routes to discover according to your desires. The Rocher du Coucou, the Braillet beach, the surrounding valleys, the Sentier des Douaniers (GR34) and the Pointe de Pordic in particular are not to be missed during your stay.

I mean, do you come with your family? The Trégomeur zoopark is a must for young and old alike! You will see tigers, red pandas, bears, otters, but also camels, deer, turtles, Japanese squirrels, parakeets, peacocks and magnificent pink flamingos.
