Ideally located between the bay of Douarnenez and the Crozon peninsula in Finistère, the seaside resort of Saint-Nic has all the cards in hand to make you fall in love with Brittany at first sight.

Lovers of tranquillity, dream beaches and dazzling nature? Saint-Nic is definitely the place to put your suitcases down. Little known to tourists, this small seaside resort nestled at the entrance to the Crozon peninsula is nevertheless full of treasures to be discovered, starting with its absolutely marvellous coastline. Here, on more than 5 kilometers, the fine sand beaches follow one another, perfect for bubbling under the sun, sand yachting (on the beach of Cameros in particular), but also activities with feelings like paragliding from its cliffs, the longe-côte or to bathe you quietly in its splendid water. From its neighbour, the beach of Pentrez famous for its panoramas on the peninsula of Crozon and the Cape of the Goat, you can opt for sailing sessions, sand yachting also, but also kitesurfing, surfing, paddle, swimming, bodyboarding and kitesurfing. 4 kilometres long, it is the largest beach in the whole bay of Douarnenez, and attracts many fishing enthusiasts on foot at low tide, when the sea recedes to give way to a wide sandbank studded with small rocks on which crustaceans like to hide. In addition, during the summer period, it is very popular with wind and water sports aficionados who come en masse to take part in the BreizhWind. If, for their part, lovers of idleness will have a great time, adventure fans will not be able to help but set out to discover the coast on foot, by bike or on flippers, to discover the astonishing splendour of the creeks that line the cliffs of the seaside resort, creeks magnified by the presence of caves that are both intimate and fascinating.

The heart of the village is also well worth the detour: characteristic of Brittany, with its beautiful stone houses decorated with windows decorated with colourful agapanthus and hydrangeas, it is particularly pleasant to visit on foot. You will cross the road of the Saint-Jean chapel, the Saint-Nicaise church, or the Saint-Côme chapel, known for its frame in the shape of a boat hull. Calvaries, fountains and dolmens complete the inventory of the local heritage, for a total immersion in the traditions of Brittany.

Finally, it is impossible to stay in Saint-Nic without taking the GR34 footpaths: running along Brittany from north to south, these superb footpaths will take you along the beaches of Plomodiers and Douarnenez, but also as far as the magnificent Crozon peninsula, renowned for its arduous paths and dream beaches below the steep cliffs, perfect bathing and hiking sites for nature lovers who will surely be amazed by the beauty of the Breton coast.

Stroll to the Cape of the goat and the peninsula of Crozon. The restaurant AR MAEN HIR in Locronan, a very nice discovery. The creperie de Ste Côme in St Nic, excellent pancakes and galettes. Les herbes folles in DOUARNENEZ, an atypical restaurant run by a charming couple and then a nice walk in the bay from the beach of the white sands in Tréboul
