In the heart of Haute-Savoie, between Chamonix and Geneva, the Domaine du Grand Massif has a preserved natural setting and offers magnificent views of Mont-Blanc. In all seasons, you will appreciate the typical Savoyard charm of its villages and the diversity of the proposed activities.

Developed for winter sports in the mid-1930s, the Grand Massif was only created in 1982 with the construction of a link between the various ski areas of Morillon, Samoëns, Les Carroz and Flaine. Today, it also houses the resorts of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, Carroz-d'Arâches and the village of Arâches-la-Frasse. Covering nearly 40,000 hectares, it has a unique natural heritage, with its two reserves, as well as heritage, with Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, one of the most beautiful villages in France, Flaine, the only ski resort listed as a historic monument, and the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church in Samoëns.

With 148 slopes of all levels, 71 ski lifts and a high altitude that guarantees good snow conditions, the Grand Massif ski area is a true Eldorado for ski lovers. Take, for example, the 14-kilometre-long Cascades trail or the Marvel trail that crosses a centuries-old fir forest. With your family, join the many play areas located along the slopes such as Ze Forest in Flaine, Woops in Les Carroz or Ze Kidz Park in Les Morillons. Also discover night snowshoeing, ice climbing, horse-drawn carriage rides, sleddog rides or learn to drive on the largest ice circuit in France.

In summer, the Grand Massif covers the greenery of its mountain pastures and invites you to experience new sensations. For example, explore the many hiking trails that criss-cross the estate, such as the Combe de l'Airon or the one leading to Lake Gers. On mountain bikes, ride down the black Naturide piste which offers a very technical descent over 500 metres or practice in the Bike Park des Carroz. Then discover the Disc Golf, which combines golf and frisbee, on the 9-hole Morillon course. But don't hesitate to also take a little height, in paragliding, to appreciate all the majesty of the mountains and valleys.
