Loudenvielle is a small village in the Hautes-Pyrénées, situated on the border of the Haute-Garonne and Spain, in a privileged natural setting between mountains, lakes and forests. Walking through its narrow streets, you will be charmed by its picturesque character and you will discover a typical Pyrenean heritage : Sainte-Marie Madeleine church, Saoussas mill, Arixo museum space which traces the history of the Louron valley. But Loudenvielle is also famous for its sulphurous hot spring and its relaxation centre which offers a real tour of the thermal world through its various baths : Roman, Amerindian, Incas, Japanese.

In winter, Loudenvielle is a perfect place to live and enjoy winter sports. The village is located less than 20 minutes from two ski resorts: Peyragudes (51 runs) and Val Louron (20 runs). You can practice downhill skiing, tobogganing, ski touring, snowshoeing but also more fun sliding in freestyle areas. In summer, the snow gives way to magnificent green pastures and you can then practise new leisure activities : hiking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding... If you prefer the air, you can indulge in paragliding or hang-gliding and lovers of nautical activities can take advantage of the majestic environment of Lake Genos-Loudenvielle to swim, pedal boat or canoe.

A true paradise for hikers, the Louron valley offers about twenty signposted itineraries near Loudenvielle. These trails of various difficulties will allow you to discover pretty villages (Adervielle, Germ, Mont...), superb lakes (Bordères, Caillauas, Sarrouges...) and to see the high peaks (peaks of Estos, Bacou, Sarrouyes...) more closely. Then go to the nearby Aure valley and Saint-Lary-Soulan to visit its thermal baths, its Bear house and its Pyrenees National Park house. But also offer yourself some gourmet breaks to appreciate the flavours of the soil : black Bigorre pork, tarbais beans, garbure, farm cheeses, spit cake...
