Between Blainville Harbour to the north and Régneville Harbour to the south, the seaside resort of Agon-Coutainville is spread over more than 12 kilometres of superb beaches along the English Channel. On the west coast of the Cotentin, a few kilometres from Coutance, Agon-Coutainville is one of those elegant places where nature and seaside architecture are one. Along its 4-kilometre seawall, you will find a succession of Belle-Époque style residences, among others, built during the sea bathing boom. Its heritage is intimately linked to the sea and its history; to discover it, put on your trainers and/or climb on your bicycle towards the Pointe d'Agon. This natural site, classified since 1989, will offer you superb walks between bocage and beaches, where dunes and salt meadows studded with sheep and birds (hoopoes, belon, warblers...) will offer you sumptuous panoramas of the harbour of Régneville and the Sienne estuary. Continue your journey towards the Pointe d'Agon lighthouse: made of local cut stone and rubble, this lighthouse has dominated the sea since 1856 and is known to be a pioneer in green energy since it has been powered by solar energy since 1985. Further back in town, the sundial near the church is worth a visit, as is the magnificent Manoir de Coutainville, an old fortified house dating from the end of the 15th century. The former Hôtel de la Plage and its Art Deco works, the castles of La Flague, Les Pins and La Noë-Chesnaie, and the Notre-Dame-des-Flots chapel decorated with superb stained-glass windows are also on the list of places to visit.

Labelled Famille Plus, Station verte and Pavillon Bleu, the commune of Agon-Coutainville has several hiking trails perfect for novice walkers as well as for aficionados of more sporting outings. The "Vers Blainville" route, the "La Jeannerie-La Maugerie" trail, the "Côté Terre" trail, the "Dune Sud" loop, the "D'une mare à l'autre" trail and the "Vue sur Sienne" loop will perfect your knowledge of this charming seaside resort. In addition to hiking, Agon-Coutainville is the land of water activities: from its beaches, you can learn to practice catamaran, sailing, skimboarding, sea kayaking, sand yachting, paddle, fishing, but also why not discover a fun activity for the whole family, such as kite flying, trimaran rides, horseback riding on the seaside or water walking!
