A refuge for many migratory birds, notably in the Marquenterre nature reserve, it is also home to the largest French seal colony. In the heart of the bay or nearby, many seaside resorts invite you to enjoy this magnificent setting: Le Crotoy, Cayeux-sur-Mer, Quend, Mers-les-Bains... These charming and picturesque resorts also allow you to practice many water sports such as sailing, paddle, kite-surfing, kayaking, canoeing...

After this exploration of the coastline, go and discover the big cities of Picardy. The regional capital, Amiens, is full of fabulous places and monuments. In the historical center, admire the Notre-Dame cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the belfry and the house of Jules Verne. But also take a boat ride on the canals that cross the Hortillonnages, floating gardens built by the Romans. Then go to Laon to see its famous crowned mountain and its 68 buildings classified as historical monuments (Notre-Dame cathedral, episcopal palace, Hôtel-Dieu...).
