Continue your city escapades by Riom, the former royal capital of Auvergne, to visit the Saint-Amable basilica, the Sainte-Chapelle, the belfry and the Mandet museum, and by Thiers for its medieval atmosphere, its Romanesque church and its cutlery museum. Between two cities, do not hesitate to move away from the main roads to discover charming villages like Aydat (church, menhir, lake) Murol (castle, megalithic table) or Tauves (church, chapel, menhir).

With its unique landscapes, the Puy-de-Dôme is also a dream place to practice many activities. On foot, discover the lakes, the natural parks and take the Chemin des Muletiers to reach the summit of Puy de Dôme. By bike, enjoy the majestic setting of the volcanoes by following the cycling and tourist itineraries proposed by the department.
