In the Vaucluse department, Sarrians is the perfect place for a holiday to discover its most beautiful corners. Between sun, nature and culture, this charming town has everything to give you a change of scene and allow you to relax from the pressure of everyday life for a few days with family or friends.

In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, between Avignon, Carpentras and Orange, the town of Sarrians is located just south of Mont Ventoux. This very old, authentic destination has its origins far back in the Gallo-Roman era. Built around a splendid church, the oldest of all the churches in Provence, Sarrians boasts a captivating and very old architectural heritage, which you will have plenty of time to discover during your stay. Thus, along the streets of Sarrians, you will discover the remains of thick medieval ramparts, those of rural chapels emblematic of local heritage, or the church of St. Peter and Paul, which of its amazing dome on trunk impresses visitors. In addition to the charming residences and their undeniable picturesque character, Sarrians is home to an old convent, a fountain and a wash house, as well as a number of absolutely splendid castles; from the Brunelli castle (15th century) to the Milord castle (end of the 17th century), not forgetting the Verclos castle, the whole of the wealthy character of Sarrians will jump out at you. But if there is one that you should not miss, it is the Château de Tourreau: built during the 18th century, it has the reputation of being one if not THE most beautiful of all the castles in the region. With its elegant architecture, its imperial look and its chapel decorated with 19th century murals, it is without doubt one of the most refined castles you will have the opportunity to discover during your stay in Sarrians.

Staying in Sarrians also means enjoying a generous and magnificent nature. Here, there are many walking and cycling routes that will allow you to discover the town and the other surrounding villages, not forgetting the neighbouring Dentelles de Montmirail and the Mont Ventoux, via the Via Venaissia, notably along the Canal de Carpentras. As for the fishing ponds, in the direction of Carpentras, Aubignan, Beaumes-de-Venise, Vacqueyras, Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue or Jonquières, Sérignan-du-Comtat or Orange, there is definitely something to do in the Sarrians area! Moreover, the Spirou Provence Park will be ideal for a sporty and playful day, just as the market will be perfect for you to succumb to the delights of the local gastronomy. Finally, because it is animated throughout the year, the commune has a large number of events for the whole family: the Sarrians Votive Festival, the Festival of Current Music, the Horse Festival, or the Biodiversity Festival, which will undoubtedly delight young and old.
