A key figure in Saix, she gave her name to a Romanesque church listed for the unique beauty of its choir and apse, as well as to a chapel which, thanks to contemporary frescoes, recounts the story of her life, from her marriage to Clotaire I to her creation of the abbey of Sainte-Croix de Poitiers, her flight to Touraine or the miracle of the oats.
