Explore Vosges

In its heart, you can admire the Gothic Basilica of Saint Maurice, built in the thirteenth century, and the castle whose magnificent park is accessible via an architectural curiosity : "The Chinese Tower" (erected at the beginning of the 19th century and recently restored). In Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, admire the cathedral, built in pink sandstone, the Celtic camp of La Bure and the Claude and Duval factory whose buildings were designed by Le Corbusier.

In particular, explore the Route des Crêtes, the Lakes Valley and climb to the top of the Grand Ballon. Then go to Remiremont to admire its fabulous abbey district, to Gérardmer for the beauty of its lake, to Domrémy-la-Pucelle to visit Joan of Arc's birthplace. Also visit the ancient copper mines of the Dukes of Lorraine near Le Thillot and attend a performance in the famous Théâtre du Peuple in Bussang.
