In northern Poland, the sandy beaches provide an ideal setting to enjoy the Baltic Sea. Discover the pretty seaside resorts of Darlowo, a former Hanseatic fishing port, home to the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle, Kolobrzeg, with its 14th century Gothic cathedral and numerous spas, or Rowy's. Also, in the west of the country, enjoy the island of Wolin, famous for its natural park, high cliffs and postglacial lakes. Connected to the Baltic Sea by a narrow isthmus, the Szczecin Lagoon is also a great place to practice sailing, kayaking or diving.

In the Sudetenland, admire the inselbergs of the Sowie Mountains ; next to Bialowieza, walk the trails of the last primary forest in Europe where the buffalo was saved from extinction ; in the Mazury region, enjoy the country of lakes. But also enjoy the many national parks for hiking, biking, horse riding, climbing or canoeing.
