In northern Poland, the sandy beaches provide an ideal setting to enjoy the Baltic Sea. Connected to the Baltic Sea by a narrow isthmus, the Szczecin Lagoon is also a great place to practice sailing, kayaking or diving.
Then go inland to visit the beautiful Polish cities. Warsaw, the capital and seat of the highest authorities, is a jewel. While walking along these streets, you will be impressed by the splendor of the royal castle and by the many palaces : Namiestnikowski, Wilanów and those who now house the university and the Polish Academy of Sciences. But also enjoy St. John's Cathedral, the National Museum and the Chopin Museum. Also discover Krakow, the big southern city of country. Spared by the wars since the Middle Ages, it has an impressive heritage : old medieval town, royal castle, cloth hall, St. Stanislaus and Wenceslas cathedral, St. Mary's Basilica...
Then go to discover the natural curiosities of this country of greenery. In the Sudetenland, admire the inselbergs of the Sowie Mountains ; next to Bialowieza, walk the trails of the last primary forest in Europe where the buffalo was saved from extinction ; in the Mazury region, enjoy the country of lakes. But also enjoy the many national parks for hiking, biking, horse riding, climbing or canoeing. Between two sports activities, visit other beautiful cities (Toruń, Bialystok, Lublin, Lódź, Zamość...) and take the time to taste the Polish specialties : źurek, piroguis, herrings with onions, bigos, oscypek, gingerbread Toruń, precel...
